Overview

Yangon (formerly known as Rangoon) is the largest city in Myanmar (formerly Burma). A mix of British colonial architecture, modern high-rises and gilded Buddhist pagodas define its skyline. Its famed Shwedagon Paya, a huge, shimmering pagoda complex, draws thousands of pilgrims annually. The city’s other notable religious sites include the Botataung and Sule pagodas, both housing Buddhist relics. Wikipedia

(Day 01) Yangon arrival
(Day 01) Yangon arrival

On your morning flight arrival, your guide will welcome you at International Airport of Yangon (the biggest city and the capital of Myanmar until 2006). Your sightseeing will start with City Orientation tour, Yangon downtown area, Sule Pagoda(the landmark of Yangon City Centre) and from there we walk along the Pansodan street which has many large Colonial buildings (British colonial heritage) which are still in use , Chinatown andthe Indian quarter. Continue visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda Image (Six-Storied Pagoda) (a huge reclining Buddha), 70 meter long and one of Myanmar's largest and you can get your fortune told by the fortune tellers who have shops nearby. And then you can take good photo stop at the Royal Karaweik Barge.
Evening sightseeing will start with a drive to Yangon River near Botathaung Pagodaand walk along the Waterfront to see boats unloading rice and local ferry and passenger boats dating to the British era.
Your evening will be at Shwedagon Pagoda, the world famous glittering gold stupa, will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city, enjoy with many Myanmar people praying and making offerings at Shwedagon and you can remain until sunset.

(Day 02) Yangon – Twente (with cruise)

In the early morning, board at Botathaung Jettey departs to Twente. You will be served with some refreshment on board. It will take about 3 and half hours and arrive at Twente, an ancient city which lines 25 km away from Yangon and it is famed for its pottery making business. The cruise will take you across the famous Twente canal which was dug during the colonial days.
Sightseeing includes:
Shwesandaw Paya - a two kilometer south of Twente Canel. Visit the 76m tall Shwesandaw Pagoda. This pagoda is almost as old as Shwedagon Pagoda.
Pottery workplace - Pottery is major cottage industry in Twente, which supplies much of the delta region with well-designed, utilitarian containers of varying shapes and sizes. It is good observation of making skillful. The pots are made in huge thatched-roof sheds. You may even wish to purchase some of the pots.
Twente Market - It is very wide and place of trading of whole sales fruits and vegetables, local products of Ayarwaddy delta.Lunch on board and your cruise time will be 6.5 hrs. Arrive back at Yangon around 3:30 and shopping to Bogoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) for your souvenirs from Myanmar until it closes at 5pm.
Chinatown & Little India - You can found many interesting object visiting around this area. As it is not India without spice, varieties of India’s spice are there in different colors. Chinatown and Little India are blend together and Chinese clan temples, as well as Hindu temples are illustrated the area quite interesting to become a great tourists’ attraction place. Also the lively Chinatown and Little India districts and most restaurants around the area offer great food.

(Day 03) Yangon – Thanlyin (Syriam) (by Land)

Escape from the hustle and bustle Yangon, 30 minutes morning drive to a small city Thanlyin, a major port and trading center until it was destroyed in 1756, visit the ruins of Catholic Church built by Italian Barnabite Missionary in 18th century, a large golden Kyeikkhauk Pagoda.
Continue to Kyauk Tan, 12 km from Thanlyin for Yele Pagoda (Kyauk Tan)
(Mid-River Pagoda), the complex is perched on a tiny island in the middle of the water.
In the afternoon, your tour will be in National Museumfor the various kinds of exhibits with golden lion throne of the last Myanmar King Thibaw (19th Century). Before two hours of your departure flight time, transfer to International Airport for your onward flight.
